So far I have not seen documentation for Edward's parents, but some descendants believe he was the son of Charles Robertson/Robinson b. 1788 iin NC, son of Julius and Sarah (Shelton) Robertson (for the family of Charles, see http://www.geocities.com/qatballou_laura/generation_five.htm#_Toc532309215) . If anyone has proof of this line, I'd love to see it. Sharon, I haven't found anything to indicate Lassiter Robertson's family is in any way connected to our line. Of course, this doesn't mean it's definitely not, just that I have never found a link.
