Clinton HOOKER was the son of James HOOKER, who was born in 1827 in Virginia or North Carolina. James and Angeline had a daughter, Rose HOOKER, who was born May 7, 1885 in Clay Co., KY. Rose HOOKER married Noah HOBBS. I remember my mom telling me that her grandfather Franklin HOOKER had a sister named Rose HOOKER HOBBS.
