I am not sure if my Helton's were ever in Clay, they could have been before the county lines changed. She married Jeremiah "Jerry" Smith. He was born January 19, 1854, in Perry County, KY. Barbara's parents were Carlow "Carr" Helton and Susan "Susie" Turner. Carlow's parents were John Arnold Helton and Barbara Shepherd. Which Helton line are you descended from? Jeri
