She was buried in Salem Cemetery, Jackson Parish, Louisiana. Samantha married HIGHIA Wages sone of Dutton WAGERS and Lucy HOLLAND. Highia WAGES was born 15 June 1854 in Clay Co. KY, and died 4 April 1935 in Jackson Parish, LA. He was also buried in Salem Cemetery. Children of Samantha SMITH and Highia WAGES are: Calow Wagers born 1878 in KY Jasper Wagers born 19 Dec 1878 in Clay Co KY & died 18 April 1920 in Laurel Co. KY George Wagers born July 1880 in Clay Leroy Wagers born Aug 1883 in Clay Andrew Wagers born Sep 1885 in Clay Lucy Wagers born ca 1890 in Clay Jasper WAGERS was born 19 Dec. 1878 in Clay Co. KY & died 18 Apr 1920 in Laurel Co. KY. He married Martha Belle GREGORY, daughter of Elisha GREGORY & Ann DURHAM on 19 December 1898 in Clay Co. KY. Martha Belle was born June 1877 in Clay Co. KY. Two of their children are: HIGHIA WAGERS born OIctr 1899 in Clay Co.
