    3. RESPONSE: Kay, With regard to Preston HENDRICKSON who also married Hannah SIMPSON on October 4, 1898, did I ever tell you who Hannah's parents were? Hannah SIMPSON b. abt. 1869 in most prob. Leslie Co., shows up with her mother on the 1880 Leslie Co. Fed. Census. Her mother was Rebecca SIMPSON. Hannah's father from what I have been told was my g-grandfather, Harrison TAYLOR (b. 1836; d. 1904) who was a married man. The information was contained in an old Bible record and the info passed on to me. With regard to the Elizabeth HINKLE who married Preston HENDRICKSON , the most logical fit is that she was the dau. of James Madison HINKLE b. Jan. 4, 1831; mar. abt. 1846 to Talitha or Telitha HALE. Later Lelitha married Palestine WALKER and was shown as a widow at that point in time. I have no definitive proof this is so, however. James Madison HINKLE would have been a s/o William HINKLE b. abt. 1803 and Susan/Susannah TREADWAY. Joyce Taylor Collins La Palma, CA Message text written by INTERNET:KYCLAY-L@rootsweb.com >Hello, I have an Elizabeth Hinkel who married Preston Hendrickson in Knox Co KY on May 07, 1863. I have little on her. Do not know her parents. She was my GG Grandmother. She and Preston were living in Bell Co KY not long after they married. They were divorced and Elizabeth married again to an unknown man in Bell Co. Story goes that she shot him and blinded him in one eye.. When the Judge ask her why she tried to kill her husband it is said she told him that she did try to kill him. "However, if I had wanted him dead he would have been dead". Preston also remarried. They must have been a bad pair. Preston is said to have shot and killed a man or men. Some of the family say they were known as Bonnie and Clyde of Bell CO. Always have one or two in a family that we don't understand. Would love to know more on my Elizabeth if you find her. Thanks Kay G. Adams <
