Just a reminder that this Saturday the 26th of July we are going to have our first Knox County Genealogy exchange for anyone interested. You don't have to be a Knox Countian to attend just bring your love of genealogy. What: Knox County Genealogy Exchange Who: Anyone who is interested in exchanging genealogy information from Knox County or any of the surrounding areas. When: July 26, 2003 Where: Union College, Barbourville Heritage Conference Room, (near student center) Time: 1:00 until 5:00 pm Cost: If you want to copy other people's materials the cost is 0.10 per copy. This will be paid on an honor system as I will be billed afterwards for all copies made. Requested Donation: $1.00 each to cover the cost of the room, no I won't take count and make sure you paid, no need to sneak in, the room rental is only $50.00 but I would love a little help paying for it if each would chip in. What to Bring: Anything that you would like to share, would love to see photographs, death certificates, birth certificates, pension records, marriage records, military records, anything you wouldn't mind sharing. DIRECTIONS Once in Barbourville: Turn Right on KY-11 - Bear Right on KY-2421 AKA COLLEGE ST Turn Right on Manchester Street. You will pass four parking lots then a long drive way Turn into the Long drive way which will take you to the back parking lot The building in the corner will be the student Center. -- Please check out my new free genealogy site.
