Joann, I found a James Young being a son of Thomas Young and Elizabeth. This James was born about 1830 in Va. He died in Breathitt co. Ky in 1886 He married Sally Emaline Caudill in 1850. James had a brother John, Thomas, and Isaac. Do you have other names, dates, etc? I've got a lot on Reece and William. I haven't be able to connect the old Thomas to them. Drury seems to be the head of all these local Youngs. There has to be a tie in somewhere. I come through both Reece and Wm. James and John is such a common name, but I haven't found one yet.
