Donna, and others, I can take George Washington Blanton back to Sarah Ann Jordan and John Teague. The Brock connection must have been on his fathers side of the family as I don't find that at all. This is what I have and I would love additions or corrections. George Washington Blanton is the s/o James Garfield Blanton and Esther Teague James is the s/o Calvin Fee Blanton and Angeline Osborne (no further info on either) Esther Teague is the d/o John Teague and Sarah Ann Jordan.
