    3. RESPONSE: Why don't you provide some more particulars and I will do a check for you. How do you know that his birth date is August 1862? How do you know that he was born in Clay Co., KY? Do you know who he married or where he married? Do you know any of his parents? Do you know who his children were? I'm not questioning your information, I am simply attempting to verify what you have in order to look further. For example, there is a James F. YOUNG in the 1870 Clay Co. who is a little older than your James J. Often there can be a misintrepretation of an initial and often ages can vary or be off up to 10 years. Often people will absolutely swear someone was born in a particular county and it will turn out to be somewhere else. Who is this James J. YOUNG in relation to yourself? Am I to understand that you do not locate him anywhere prior to the 1920 Perry Co. When and where did he die? 3. James J Young is my husband's grandfather. James J ( stands for Jerry ) supposedly. was married twice. His first wife died at a young age after giving birth to Robert Emmet Young in Bell County Ky. James remarried again to a woman named Sarah Smith. Together they had three more children, Alice, Harley and Chester . I believe Chester was born in Tennessee according to his SSI. Robert Emmet' social security application states that his father James J Young was born in Clay County Ky. I have James J Young's death certificate that states he was born in Clay County Ky in 1862. Died in Perry County in 1927. My husband's family doesn't seem to know much else about the family Thanks for your help Joann ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joyce Collins" <joycecollins@compuserve.com> To: <KYCLAY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2003 9:46 PM Subject: [KYCLAY] Young's > RESPONSE: > Why don't you provide some more particulars and I will do a check for you. > How do you know that his birth date is August 1862?
