Hi List, I have a puzzle that I needed to solve at least some theories about it. Would like to have some more info on the Children of Samuel and Rebecca Wood I have these children listed as their children; Levina "Viney" born. abt 1814 , she is the mother of James Woods Baker Susan b, abt 1814, would really like some more info on her. Mary Polly b. 1815 John C. b. 1816 Peggy b. 1819 Margaret b. 1821 Samuel b. 1825 Ibby b. 1828 If by the 1830 Federal Census the Family is listed under Rebecca name only. I believe Samuel Sr., abt 1827 There is total of ten listed on this 1830 Census and that is my question? Who is the tenth person. I think it is James Wood (Baker), Levinas' son. Males under 5 yrs, [1] Is this James Wood Baker Males of 10 to 15 [2] This would be John C. and Samuel Jr. Males of 20 to 30 [1] Who is this ????? Females under 5 [1] Is this Ibby (In the 1850 Census, Ibby is listed is as18 ) Females of 5 to 10 [2] Elizabeth and Margaret Females of 15 to 30 [2] Susan , Mary or Levina Females of 30 to 40 [1] Rebecca Wilson Wood There is one to many males and not enough Females as I see it. Can anyone unravel this mystery??? Also I can find no reference to Levina "Viney" Wood in any census. I have been told that she is listed with a commom- law man in her later years.
