Those of you out there with the surname Allen in your family, do you have anything about Adaline Allen, married to Thomas Maupin? I don't have their birth or death dates, only their names. Their daughter, Cinda, was born 9/18/1894 and lived in Manchester. She died there in 1/9/1972. Her husband was Robert Reid. I am related through their son, Willie Reid (my grandfather). -----Original Message----- From: Allison Reker [mailto:eowynwr@adelphia.net] Sent: Wednesday, July 23, 2003 8:33 AM To: KYCLAY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: RE: [KYCLAY] Chick/cheek Nope, I wouldn't mind at all. One of my Yeager relations that I just newly met at a family reunion says she's sending it to me. I'm hoping to get it in the mail very soon. -----Original Message----- From: Lizajanegirl1896@aol.com [mailto:Lizajanegirl1896@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, July 22, 2003 1:17 PM To: KYCLAY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [KYCLAY] Chick/cheek In a message dated 7/21/03 9:39:49 PM Eastern Daylight Time, eowynwr@adelphia.net writes: > Her father was James Chick who came originally from Virginia, into I believe > North Carolina (where he was married to Martha Estes in Orange County. Hi, I have an enormous file on the Descendants of Samuel Allen. Do you know her Parents name. It may save some time. I know I have seen the Allen Maupin connection in it somewhere. I don't know her parent's names yet, but I'm still looking. I just recently discovered her name by sending for her daughter Cinda's death certificate. As soon as I find out I'll let you know. -----Original Message----- From: NANCY/Glenda [mailto:crowwmn@mvdsl.com] Sent: Wednesday, July 23, 2003 1:03 PM To: KYCLAY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [KYCLAY] Allen Hi, I have an enormous file on the Descendants of Samuel Allen.
