Greetings, Sure do appreciate this info. However, this raises quite a few questions. I was never told that my grandma Harriett was a Mulatto-in fact I was told she was of dark/darker complexion. Does anyone have any census records that might indicate who her parents were. This is a first - seeing her listed on Census as Mulatto. I must call my cousin who knew Harriett as a young boy to get his opinion on this. Very interesting. I appreciate everyone's help. Also, Harriett had a granddaughter named LILLIAN. She raised me. I do not see her listed in grandma Harriett's household. Do you see a Lillian POTTER anywhere. She was born in 1914 in Clay Co. and is the daughter of Louisa and granddaughter of Harriett. THANKS AGAIN. God Bless.
