    1. [KYCLAY] Elizabeth McQuinn
    2. Elizabeth McQuinn is listed on the 1810 census of Clay County with three young males in her household. Earlier tax records name these males as Alexander, Charles and William. In 1815 Charles married Lucy McDaniel in Clay County. Is anyone researching Elizabeth and her sons. I believe she is the widow of Charles McQuinn/McQueen who died in Wilkes County, NC in 1796. I have seen Elizabeth McQuinn indexed as both McGuin and McGuire. My gg-grandfather Braxton McQuinn came from NC to Clay County, KY about 1819 and is a neighbor of Charles in 1820 census. Braxton and Wiley Cope named justices of the Peace on same day. Weighly Cope is listed next door to Elizabeth McQuinn on 1810 census and Charles and Lucy McQuinn named their first soon Wiley. DNA tests show strong relationship between all McQuinn males mentioned. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Maxine Daly, _mdaly8485@aol.com_ (mailto:mdaly8485@aol.com)
