I have an interest in McDaniel - Charles McQuinn married Lucy McDaniel, daughter of George, in 1815, Clay County, KY. His mother Elizabeth/Betsy was in Clay by 1810 or earlier She was widow of Charles McQueen/McQuinn who died NC in 1796. Some records index her as McGuire, others as McGuin. My gg-grandfather Braxton McQuinn, together with Wiley Cope, were recommended as justices of the peace 1819, Clay County, KY. Charles and Lucy named their first son Wiley. Any relation?
