I have the Montgomery County marriage of Louisa "Eliza" Barnes and John Burgess. It says John 21 1st Marriage resident of Menifee Co born Clay Co. as were both parents. and Louisa C. Barnes 18 1st marriage resident of Montgomery Co. born Mont gomery County as were both parents. Surety Frank Crouch. to be married 23 Dec 1875 at residence of Nancy J. Barnes. My problem is Louisa's mothers maiden name. I have her father as John Barnes and mother as Nancy J. Edwards, but the death certificate for Louisa from Missouri says her mother was Nancy J. Tate. I was hoping someone might clear it up as to whether her mother was Edwards or Tate. Thanks. JoAnn
