    3. Charles, I dont know. Ive only been doing this for about 4 years now. I know I can trace my line back to John McDaniel and Judah Cornett. According to what I have, John's Father was a Thomas McDaniel, but I dont have any other info on him. I just wonder if it could be the same Thomas you are speaking of? 3. Marvin, The answer to your question is out there in the genealogical community. That's what makes all this so fantastic; it allows us to connect. If I don't discover something on Thomas I'm sure someone else will, sometime down the road. Let me know if you hear something. Meantime I'll go over the notes I have on the Clay County Court Order Book A, which was the first one, and see what I can find. I'm pretty sure there was a mention or two about one or two McDaniels. --Charles On May 17, 2007, at 7:52 PM, Marvin Gregory wrote: > Charles, > I dont know. 3. I descend from Thomas McDANIEL and Sarah "Sally" EVERAGE. Thomas is believed to be the son of Thomas McDANIEL and wife unknown. According to some Revolutionary War records that I have Thomas McDANIEL Sr. and George McDANIEL served in the Revolutionary War together. What I have not figured out is why Thomas Sr. left Clay County and went to Monroe County, Virginia (now West Virginia). According to Thomas Sr's Revolutionary record he had three children who were all grown and no wife. George remained in Southeastern Kentucky.
