He was an Attorney in Columbus, a former Ohio State Representative where he lobbied for several national organizations & a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife: Carol Manning, the following children: Cayte, Jerome, Michael, Shawn, and Darin and two sisters: Florence Allen and Judith Whitaker. He is preceded in death by his mother: Dorothea Manning Whitaker and father: John Lawrence Manning.
