    3. How many census records do you have Jesse in that gives state of birth? I know the 1850 and 1860. How about the 1870, etc., etc.? Usually, when a place of birth is very consistant throughout a number of census record periods, its about 99% sure that its correct. That doesn't necessarily mean that its correct that both of Stephen Williams parents were born in S.C. I don't know what this means but on every account of Jesse's birth place in census is listed SC.
