I found John Shryer in the 1820 Christian County census Males: 3 to age 10; 2 between 10 and 16; and 1male 45and up. females: 1 to age 10; 3 between 16 and 26; 1 between 26 and 45 There were no Shryer's listed in 1830 and 1840 In the 1850 census I have, I only found one Shryer 970/1037 Mark W. Shryer age 28 born Ky Mary J. 26 born Tn John A. 3 born Tn Margaret R. 1 born Tn Jas. J. Haven 15 sadler born Ky Jacob McG 13 born Ky.
