Matt Adams, of Tennessee, Well Known Here, Dies at Rockcastle Wednesday Morning Mr. J. Matt ADAMS, of Tennessee, but who is well known to many of our citizens, died suddenly at Rockcastle, in Trigg county, early Wednesday morning. He had for several years been engaged as a drummer for a Nashville house. He was on one of his trips at the time of his death. He had gone to Rockcastle the night before and put up at the hotel. About two or three o'clock in the morning, he waked up and complained of not feeling well. There was another man in the room at the time. Mr. ADAMS started to walk across the floor and suddenly fell heavily. He was assisted to his bed and a physician was summoned, but in a short time, he was dead. It was heart failure. Mr. ADAMS was a twin brother of Mr. Jeff ADAMS, and an uncle of Mrs. Rufe WHITTINGHILL and the late John ADAMS, of this place, and Matt ADAMS, of Hopkinsville. He was about 70 years of age.
