Her mother Catherine Sims gave consent for the marriage. John B. C. and Amanda's son William married Fannie Hale, a sister to my husband's direct line. That is why I have the info in my data base. The Christian Co marriages also show a Catherine Woodburn marrying William A. Sims 27 Dec 1825. Catherine is in the 1850 Christian Co. Census with several children in her household. Living close is Jas Woodburn and Mary who would be old enough to be her parents. Hope this helps.
