The album includes many unnamed photographs including two tintypes. I believe Roy's mother was a Swope, and it is said that he was a descendant (or relative) of Jefferson Davis. One photograph is of a West Point graduate with only the name "Gen. Saffarrans". Any info about this family will be appreciated.
