According to Ancestry's KY Death index 1911-2000, Marcus H. BOYD, age 76, died 7 Dec. 1946 in Christian Co., KY. He would have been born ca 1870, about the time that my missing gg grandfather, Marcus D. Boyd would have turned 50. I know that Marcus D. Boyd was in Montgomery Co., TN in 1850, Trigg Co., KY in 1851 and McCracken Co., KY in 1860. I know of other Marcus BOYDS, one of which married a Margaret BOYD in Trigg Co., KY in the 1850's and later moved to Texas. One version of our family lore is that "the BOYDS came from down around Christian Co." It is my hope that there might be some connection between Marcus H. and Marcus D. BOYD and tracing the parents of Marcus H. might lead me to some information on the parents of Marcus D. Any information on Marcus H. BOYD would be most appreciated. Ed.Boyd@prodigy.net
