Dickenson, was born in 1922; and they went to Little River Church of Christ in Christian Co. He would probably know whether there was a Church of Christ in Hopkinsville at the time. I'm relatively sure there was; the one there has been around for a very long time; and the Reformation, which established many Churches of Christ in the area of VA/Ky/TN happened before the Civil War. I'll ask whether he's heard of your grandfather, and whether he knows the start date of that congregation.
