She was the only sister of Miss Lula CLARK, one of the teachers in the Madisonville public school. Miss CLARK was in this city the Sunday week before her death, on a visit to friends. She returned not fully well and was taken to her bed the next day. She was about 22 years of age and was much beloved by all who knew her. (Source: Madisonville Hustler, Fri., Nov. 27, 1896)
