Cy. M. BROWN, of Hopkinsville. He was taken sick only a few days since and died Sunday night. He was the representative in the legislature from Christian county, was about 40 years old and had never married. He was a large man in body and had a heart that was equally as large. He was one of nature's noblemen and was beloved and respected by all who knew him. We had known him a long time and loved him very much. He was a man of ability, was a good speaker and a splendid writer. His death will be mourned by thousands of people. (Source: Madisonville Hustler, Tue., Aug. 11, 1896)
