Diann, No! Rootsweb would never send this type of message. The person who sent it probably subscribed to Rootsweb mailing lists and sent the message to all Kentucky counties. Mail list administrators removed the subscriber, but not before the message was posted. You should be cautious about clicking on links in messages unless you are sure they are legitimate. Just one visit to the site can cause a cookie to download to your computer without your knowledge. You might receive unwanted emails, viruses, trojans. If you are in doubt about any message, you should probably check with the list administrator before visiting the site.
