    3. I'm trying to locate more info on the following family. Thanks for any help you can offer! Charles Birks/Burk was born 1873 in TN and married Annie Harris on 10 Mar 1890 in Stewart County, TN. Both Charles and Annie were alive as of the 1920 census but I can't find them yet in the 1930 census. They had the following children: 1. William "Willie" Burk b. 1893 in TN -- he was the first husband of my great grandfather's half sister Pansy. 2. Eddie Burk b. 1904 3. Anna Burk b. 1905 4. Queenie Burk b. 1907 5. L.D. Burk b. 1912 Does anyone know the ancestors for Charles and/or Annie? I'm especially interested in the Harris connection as it might lead me to further information on who my great great grandmother's second husband was. Thanks. 1. Re: [KYCHRIST] Thomas ... HUEL THOMAS?
    2. mamkmm2
    3. Hi all ... I'm looking for the connections for the sister of my great grandfather. Pansy Harris (daughter of unknown Harris and Mary Dolly Parker) was born 14 Jan 1897 we believe. NOTE: She may have also gone by the maiden name of Cox. We aren't certain because Mary Dolly was married two or three times. We know for sure Mary's first husband was a Cox with whom she had my great grandfather. Then we know her last husband was a Hooper whom she had two more children with later on. Mary's first husband died and then she had Pansy ... and we think the father was a Harris but have no legal documentation on that yet. So, Pansy Harris or Pansy Cox, born about 1897, was first married to a Willie Burk and they had at least one child (female) named Wayman Burk in 1916. At some point though Pansy left Willie Burk, or he died, and married a man named Huel THOMAS in Christian county. I'm anxious to find the connection if anyone can help me. From family stories Huel Thomas may have already been married and there was some kind of scandal ... divorce, or some such ... connected with Pansy and Huel getting married. Thanks for any help on this. 3. Thank you, I appreciate the attempt. . I know I have cousins in Cadiz, Kentucky which I think is in Trigg County. And yes, it is difficult.being so far away. That said, I think it is the reason I am so willing to help out anyone else with the information I have. What goes around, comes around. Who knows, maybe all the "Virginia" Thomases were in North Carolina before Kentucky became a state. In fact, I have often wondered if, they moved as much as they appeared to. How far is Bedford County, Tennessee form Caldwell, Christian, Hopkins, Trigg, or Livingston County Kentucky? Certainly stranger things have occurred lately! 3. Hi Virginia... Bill Thomas worked at Ligon Nationwide for many years in the heavy haul department. My husband is a long distance driver leased to Ligon and worked with and knew him well. At the time of his death he was living in the house that Arnold Ligon and his first wife, Sue Trice [my husband's sister] lived in for many years. Both Sue and Arnold died in 1984. I think that's when Bill bought the house. Ligon moved it's headquarters from Madisonville to Jacksonville, Fla a couple years ago. Some of the employees moved there but I think that most stayed here [Hopkins Co] and found other employment. Be glad to do any lookups you need in Hopkins Co. nt -----Original Message----- From: Virginia A.
