Symantec Security Response encourages you to ignore any messages regarding this hoax. It is harmless and is intended only to cause unwarranted concern. Type: Hoax <http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/refa.html#hoax> technical details This hoax, like the SULFNBK.EXE Warning hoax <http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/sulfnbk.exe.warning.html>, tries to encourage you to delete a legitimate Windows file from your computer. Jdbgmgr.exe is the file to which the hoax refers, and it is the Microsoft Debugger Registrar for Java. The Jdbgmgr.exe file may be installed when you install Windows. NOTE: Recent versions of this hoax take advantage of the recent outbreak of the W32.bugbear@mm <http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.bugbear@mm.html> worm. The Jdbgmgr.exe file mentioned in the hoax has a bear icon. The actual W32.bugbear@mm <http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.bugbear@mm.html> worm file is a .exe file and does not have a bear icon. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Harold Wilson wrote: >I am not sure if this sent so I am trying one more time. >----- Original Message ----- >From: bpwilson@bellsouth.net >To: Audra Rodgers >Cc: Bettyb2121@aol.com ; Betty J. This is a hoax! That file is not a virus, it is a Microsoft file put on your computer on purpose. (Debugger Registrar for Java). Deleting this file may cause your computer to malfunction. See: http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_99436.htm PLEASE get a valid anti-virus program and run it -- OFTEN. Do not rely on emails to notify you if you have a virus. I am searching for a marriage record for my step grandfather and his first wife. Their one and only child was born in Mar 1925 so I know they had to have been married in 1924 or earlier. Couldn't have been too much earlier though because she was only about 17 at the time their child was born in 1925. Beulah Pritchett (b. abt 1908) married William Meridith "Billy" Goff (1904 - 1977). Their only child, James Meridith Goff was born in Mar 1925 and died in the 80's or early 90's. Billy and Beulah's marriage didn't last long from my understanding. Billy remarried in 1955 to my paternal grandmother Pansy Gertrude Cox Snoddy. >From the information that I've been able to locate thus far, it appears that Beulah was the daughter of Alexander Pritchett and Fannie Goolsbey.
