    2. Dr. Gerald N. Johnson, electrical engineer
    3. I'm looking for Johnson, but only David Johnson married to Margaret, with sons Davis (married Betsy Cato in CC KY about 1808 or '09), Noble, Constant, Ransom, Jonathan, William (married in CC KY in 1809 or '08) and daughters Sarah and Willey Elmey (who may have married a Baker in KY). The whole gang was in the 1810 CC KY census then joined the Bethel Baptist Church at Jackson MO in 1812. So any Johnson's after 1812 are probably not connected to these. Any genealogical reference that doesn't include the Johnson surname is surely incomplete! ;<) Thanks, Gerald J. -- Entire content copyright Dr. Gerald N. Johnson, electrical engineer. 2. Do any of you Woosley family researchers know of a James L. Woosley who married (probably second wife) Elizabeth McKinney Colley in 1861 in Trigg County? (Elizabeth had lived in Christian County during her first marriage to Kinchen Killebrew Colley.) James L. and Elizabeth had at least two children -- Rhoda and Stevens Woosley, born in the early 1860s. By 1880, both James L. and Elizabeth McKinney Colley Woosley appear to have died. Thanks for any help any of you can give me. I have been searching for this couple for a number of years. Regards, Betty Ravenholt

    3. Betty, I have these guys in my Woosley file. His name was actually James Thomas Woosley son of Moses Woosley Sr. and Elizabeth Butler. He had been married first to Ruthy Ladd Howard and they had at least 7 children before Ruthy died in 1860. He then married Elizabeth McKinney Colley 28 July 1861 and they had Steven who was born about 1865 and died in 1890 when he fell from a smoke stack he was cleaning at Grand Rivers. Contact me at familyquest1958@yahoo.com and I can give you some more information. Vickie --- Ravenholt@aol.com wrote: > Do any of you Woosley family researchers know of a > James L.
