    1. [KYCHRIST] Hawkins Cemetery Records info needed !!!!!!!

According to Evie Oliver death certificate, she died 29 Jan 1946 and was buried at Hawkins Cemetery by Wood, Fuque, & Davis funeral home of Hopkinville, KY. Wood, Fuque, and Davis has since changed to Maddox, Fuque, and Hinton funeral home and moved to a another place. They aren't sure they can locate her record since the move. I've waited five months already. The trustee's of Hawkins Cemetery said there use to be a cemetery record of the burials but wasn't sure what became of it. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but, do you have a problem with this picture, as I do? Wouldn't the Historical Society or county have to have some kind of records for the burials? We are speaking of 1946 not the 1800's. Any opinions or recomendations for me? Her doctor was Dr. M.E. Croft of Hopkinsville, KY..........

They are my gggrandparents. They had Ella, (my ggrandmother who married James Polk Wells) Martin, Harvey, Laura, Lula, & George. I heard through a cousin that they lived in Wildcat Hollow in North Christian County. Jackson was born 1855 somewhere in Ky. and Jennie was born 1865 in Ky.also. I have no information on their parents or where in Ky. they came from before coming to Christian Co. I would appreciate any info on anyone mentioned above. Thanks, Ginger

Parents unknown. Was orphaned at age of 2 and moved to Randolph Co,AL with grandparents, names unknown. She should be on the 1850 Census at age 1 with parents. Haven't had chance to look at it as Fam. Hist.Ctr is closed Thanksgiving till after New Years.

She was born Nov. 2, 1818 and all is known is that she was born in Ky. We want any info on her parents and where she was born and any other info that you might have. City of Louiville, local death records 1866 to 1911 City of Lexington, local death records from 1898 to 1911 City of Covington, death records from 1880 to 1911 City Newport, death records from 1884 to 1911 I have read that records of births and deaths from some counties as early as 1851 are in the library of KY Historical Society, Frankfort, KY

    3. I am looking for an obituary for my grandfather. His name is Jack West he died on September 6, 1963, in Hopkinsville, KY, Christian County. He was born in 1875. He died in the Western State Hospital and was buried in West Union Cemetery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
