    3. Kristen, this is what I have from J. Floyd Bullock of Camden, Ark. (probably 20 years ago in a letter). This information is without documentation, but can serve as a working guide. The Following Information is not Documented Nancy West and James Williams (parents of either unknown) had at least 12 children (not necessarily in order but listed as Mr. Bullock had them on his FGS: 1. Jesse 2. Warren 3. Betsy (5 May 1808 - 8 Jul 1871) md. James Young Edwards (Eddards) 4 Oct 1832 place unknown 4. Allen (Allain) b. 1794 NC md. Amelia b. abt. 1810 VA and md 2nd. Hiram Smith [Or this could be Alvin md. Martha Jones 26 Mar 1833] 5. Louisa md. a man by the name of Mann 6. Stephen 5 Jun 1798 or 1803? - 28 Jan 1887 md. Jane Williams (a Henderson?) Stephen 2nd. md. Lucy E. Spurlin 7. Polly [this should be a nickname for Mary -JGW] md. Gillison Price 01 Jan 1817 8. Matilda (or Malinda?) md. John Barbara Henderson 16 Dec 1824 9. James M. b. about 1800/01 md. Nancy C. and 2nd. md. Elizabeth T. Cane 10. Iva 17 Dec 1810 - 11 Jan 1895 md. Edmund Meacham, Jr. 21 Aug 1828 11. Amos 25 Oct 1801 Christian Co., KY - 06 Mar 1876 Mills Co., Iowa md. Candis Brewer 17 Aug 1826 she was born 28 Dec 1809 and died 07 Sep 1873 Mills Co., Iowa [direct ancestors of Mr. Bullock] 12. Nancy B. md. John Miller 07 Nov 1823 I suspect that the known marriage dates are of Christian Co., KY and can be easily verified. Candis Brewer is a descendant of Thomas West, Jr. (grandaughter). I descend from Thomas West, Jr. through Candis' uncle Charles H. West and his wife Aquilla Buckner. Anyone that knows of these people please document and correct if you have the information. I would like to amend my records for these people. John G. West At 11:05 PM 1/23/2004 -0500, Kristen wrote: >Looking for information on one of the early families in Christian County. 1. [KYCHRIST] What I have found on the Williams family so far
    2. Kristen
    3. This is what I have found on James Williams's family so far. I do not know if it's correct or anything because I have no one who has confirmed this for me. Jesse Williams born 1794 Newberry South Carolina died abt 1860 Wayne County Illinois married Nancy Caldwell (Colwell, the correct spelling is Caldwell) Polly Williams married Gillison (Gibson) Price Jan 1,1817 (son of Joseph Price) (moved to Posey Indiana and another note- Gillison Price was a good friend to Jesse, so much so Jesse and his wife named a child after him, Jordan Gillison Williams. Jesse was a surety for Polly for this marriage) Louisa Williams married someone with the last name Mann Archie Williams (no info) Warren Williams (no info) Matilda (Melinda) Williams married John B. Henderson Dec 16 1824 (John Henderson is listed as Jesse's neighbor in the 1820 census Posey County) Nancy Williams married John Miller Nov 7 1823 (also found in Posey County Indiana) James Williams Jr married Susan O'Daniel Stephen Williams b. 1798 married Jane Henderson (she is most likely a sister to John Henderson) Amos Williams b. 1801 married Candice Brewer Betsy Williams married Jesse Fort Iva (Ivy) Williams b. 1810 married Edmond Meacham Many names of Jesse's children we never knew where they came from until we found this James Williams family. 2 of Jesse's sons are named for people who either married into this family or were members of this family. These 2 childrens names are: William Stephen Williams b. Aug 1832 Indiana d. July 1906 Clarksville, Johnson County, Ark. Jordan Gillison Williams b. June 1840 Wayne Co. Illinois d. Clarksville, Johnson County, Ark. Some of the girls as well were named for people in this family. If anyone knows if this information is correct I would appreciate if you got back to me to confirm this. Kristen Williams mickeysmile440@comcast.net

    3. Sorry I keep forgetting to send things threw this list here as plan text lol that's all I can find too is a few things. Did this Henderson family go to Posey? Because I saw a John Henderson as Jesse Williams's neighbor in Posey Indiana in the 1820 census. Also there was another daughter I believe she is the daughter of James as well her name was Polly she married a Gillison Price, they also moved to Posey Indiana. They all live around a John Williams who was, from all the documents I have found, their uncle. Do you know what funeral home buried Joe McKnight as a call to them would be the quickest way to find the cemetery. St. Charles is no more than a cross roads community now and is actually located in Hopkins Co, KY. There are about a half dozen funeral homes within 15 miles that could have been used.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/mAB.2ACE/2513 Message Board Post: I am looking for the graves of Peyton Randolph HARRISON and his wife, Elizabeth Mease "Betty" (BARCLAY) HARRISON. They lived in Russellville, Logan Co., KY, but had land in Christian Co. also, I understand. Betty HARRISON died in 1832, supposedly in Russellville, but there is no trace of her grave in Logan Co. Peyton died in the 1840's, probably in 1845, in Christian Co., as his will was probated there. Does anyone know where Harrison graves would be in Christian Co.? Probably also buried there would be their daughter-in-law, Almira Clementina (WILCOX) HARRISON, first wife of their youngest son, Dr. Robert Peyton HARRISON. She died in 1847, in Salubria Springs, Christian Co., KY. Any help locating these graves or other information would be greatly appreciated.

I know that Joe died about 1998. But I had talked to him a few years piror to that on the phone about my Great Grandfather, Manley Tillet McIntosh. And Joe told me that he was buried on his farm. I live in AZ and can't go to Christian Co. But I would like to talk to someone who might know any information about my Great grandfather and his wife, Margaret E. (McKnight) Farmer. They were married abt. 1875. Is she too buried on this farm or where and when did they both die? I have it narrowed down to after 1897. Thank You All for your time. Surnames: Morrow Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/mAB.2ACE/53.918.919.1 Message Board Post: Regarding Rev Robert D (Davis) Morrow, he might be the son of James Gillis Morrow (who was born on board the Lord Dunluce in 1772.) James' wife was Mary Davis. IF YOUR ROBERT MORROW IS THE SAME PERSON, he and a brother, John Brown Morrow, were missionaries for the Presbyterian Church, Cumberland Presbetry? Other siblings were David Baxter, James Gillis, Margaret Huchinson, and Jane Priscilla. The parents of James Gillis Morrow were David and Elizabeth Morrow. There heritage is not certain. It is believed they were Reformed Presbyterians. Where David's family orginated from is a mystery, but I suspect Scotland. Some histories of this sect or Covenanters state they originated from France (Huegenots), to Scotland, then Ireland. I am helping a friend, Robert Morrow of Montgomery City, Missouri, find his ancestors. Please respond to me by e-mail: mdfrye@aol.com
