Rev Robert D Morrow was born 26 Dec 1796, son of James Gillis Morrow, bn 1772 on the Lord Dunluce, and Mary I Davis. Robert's grandfather is David Morrow. His grandmother's name is uncertain although many believe it is Elizabeth. James Gillis Morrow and Mary I Davis Morrow had six children: Robert D, bn 26 Dec 1796; Margaret Hutchinson (sp?), bn 15 Aug 1797; Rev John Brown, bn 25 Jun 1802 (I'm really interested in his wife, Jane Reyburn Crockett, bn 7 Aug 1807); Jane Priscella (some say Priscella Jane), bn Oct 1805; David Baxter, bn 1808; James Gillis, bn 12 May 1812. I believe I have the names of at least four of David Morrow's children: Margaret (baptized 20 Nov 1767 in Carnmoney, Ire); William (baptized 3 Mar 1768 in Carnmoney, Ire); John; and James Gillis (born 1772 on board the Lord Dunluce).

Upon looking further ( the last time i quit looking when I found the Colley name) I found a Mitchell Cemetery, the directions are "From intersection of 68 W and 91 N, turn left to old house in a field about 1 mile, and with no trail to it." Notation says "many field stones." But the three names mentioned are Drucilla, daughter of H. N. and M. A. Mitchell, also buried there are Sarah, Wife of William Colley, also buried there, William Colley. Sarah's dates are July 10, 1794 to Feb. 1, 1877 and William's dates are July 13, 1781 to August 13, 1858 "aged 77 years and 11 months." Hope this is what you want. Let me know if you want any more look-ups Juanita

I don't have any of these names in my database as part of my Colley family. The Colleys I have are William 1781-1859 and his wife Sarah(Sallie) 1794-1877. Hosea Mitchell was their son-in-law and inherited their land so I guess that's why it is called the Mitchell Cemetery. I very much appreciate your help and your reply. Thank you.

The Colleys are L. F. , Necie Haile, Oma, Otho Maurice, the son of Daniel and Louisa Wood, and Alice Lilly Litchfield. This cemetery is located on 91 N. The directions say " Go 15.5 miles on 91N, turn left go half mile, cemetery is on the left, on a hill. " I guess the directions mean 15.5 miles from Hopkinsville. If you want dates on the above names, contact me. Hope this helps. Juanita

I do not know where the old Bethlehem burying ground is. He was married to "Mary E unknown." His children were Louis H Walker (about 1866) and Lucy Walker (abt 1865). If anyone has access to marriage records a lookup would be appreciated. I have been unable to learn any more about Wade Hampton Walker other than he was born in TN and he married Polly Howell (possibly from Hardin/Larue county area. Wade Hampton Walker is buried in the Ridgetop section of the Crofton cemetery along with his duaghter Louisa Jane (Cansler) Armstrong. Louisa's daughter Victory is also there. It was a different Wade Hampton Walker that lived in Trigg county and earned a militarty pension. .
