So if we can get John Williams in the line, there will be Calvin connections. I have sent your info to my husband's cousin. He has been researching the family much longer than I have and has shared his info with me. He knows a lot more about the Calvins than I do. Maybe he can figure things out.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/mAB.2ACE/1209.1236.1.3 Message Board Post: Rebecca, Want to know something interesting? John Williams and Sarah Calvin had a son named Daniel. I don't know if John and James Sr. were brother's but they could have been related somehow. John and Sarah Williams along with many of the Calvin family members all show up in Posey County Indiana about the same time period that Gillison & Mary "Polly" Price, & Jesse Williams all show up there. John and Sarah Williams's oldest son was named Daniel born 1898, born in Christian County KY. Sarah was the daughter of Job and Nancy Calvin, who was the father of James Calvin Sr. I believe there is a connection somewhere but it's just finding that connection that's going to be hard. John Williams came from South Carolina & so did the Calvin Family. It seems like in the Williams family many names are repeated over and over. The Common First names of males in my family are William, James and Jesse. Kristen mickeysmile440@comcast.net

    2. Can you do a lookup for me at the Rosedale Cemetery, Dawson Springs, KY? Looking for any Brake's that might be buried there. My family is from Dawson Springs. My only living relative whos is no longer in good health especially her memory told me that all the Brake's were buried together in one cemetery in Dawson Springs. I have walked many cemeteries with many more to go in DS and have yet to find any of my ancestors. I would appreciate any help finding these long lost Brake ancestors. Thanks you D. Brake
