    1. Quilt - Acme Feed Mill
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/mAB.2ACE/2609 Message Board Post: I purchased an old quilt yesterday at an auction in Lafayette, TN. For its age, it is in good condition. The back of the quilt is made from cloth sacks with the imprint EGG MASH ACME FEED MILL HOPKINSVILLE, KY These may be pleniful in Christian County, but if there is a museum or historical society that would like to have this quilt, I would be pleased to donate it in the name of the lady for whom my mother and I were named. She lived in Cottontown, TN years ago and was the home nurse who delivered my mother. I met her in the early 1960's when she lived in Hop-town with her relative Bethel Hancock. Her name was Ethel St. Clair Duke. She was a wonderful seamstress and it was a delight to meet her. Please contact me if this quilt would be of interest to your community. I don't remember when she died but if it was before 1911 you can't get a death certificate. I wondered if Greenberry was buried there but I did not have a death date on him. I will look and see if I can find a death notice on him. Will get back to you. Rebecca

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/mAB.2ACE/2573.1 Message Board Post: Bruce, How much info. do you want??? I am the genealogy librarian here in Hopkinsville and there is a wealth of info here on that family. Also, I have a first cousin that married Rob Fairleigh III. Margaret Fairleigh's father was Dr. Robt. M. Fairleigh and her mother was Anna Slaughter. She had brothers, Thomas B. Jr. & Robt. M. Jr.; sisters Fanny Slaughter, Lettica Wilson and two that died young, Anna & Cornelia Wallace. There is quite a bit about Alfred Walker Wood Jr. and family. He was born here on Oct. 10, 1900 and there are several pages on this family. I can send you copies of pages from Perrins and Meachams history, it will cost you $5.00 plus .10 cents a page. There are also some family pictures in these books. If you have just gotten started on this great hobby I certainly feel for you. It has no known cure and is very addictive. Rebecca
