There are Heirs listed that may have been heirs of Joseph Cavanah who was a son of David and Francis Cavanah and I think this is where you come in. I have the marriage of Francis J. Cavanah to William Clark marrried July 25, 1849 or it may be 1841. Francis J. Cavanah was not a child of David and Francis Cavanah. I have the inventory of David Cavanah estate and it is dated 1823. so I don't think He could have been the father of you Martha. I hope that this helps and I will be glad to share if you need more. I been gong through some very old research that was done in 1923. Nancy

Frances was married to William Clark and we have found them in Dixon KY. David wouldn't have been an Uncle or a brother? The date for Martha and William (Abraham) being married in 1846 would be accurate. She would have been born in late 1820 or ealy 1830. Mildred was born sometime around 1852. She married DT Nall in Webster KY on July 22, 1866 at the home of her aunt, Frances Clark. Hope that helps

My great, great, grandmother, Mildred Myers, was married to David Nall of Dixon KY. Mildred's mom was Martha Cavanah Myers. On Mildred's death certificate her father's name is listed as William. We have found Martha Cavanah married to Abraham Miers. I do know that Martha's sister Frances was married to a Clark, as Mildred was married at her Aunts home in Dixon KY. So I know I have the right family, just can't find them on paper. Any help you can offer and give would be most welcomed. Even if it means coming down to do research in KY, I will. I was in Dixon about a year ago, but we didn't get over to Christian county. I will gladly share all of Midred's family's history to keep it all going. Thank You Natalie Anderson

He sold a piece of property before he died, my GR GR GR Grandfather Charles Cavanah ( his eldest son who lived in Monroe Co., Illinois) signed his rights to the farm to his brother in law David Thomasson, they had all others sign at a later date and then had all sign it again after they found the court had made a mistake on the first. They are all listed on the same page in one of their first deed books. I made a copy of the page but it does not show the page number or book number. They were completed between 1819 and 1853 and one other Cavanaugh appears in the middle In Illinois they will make a copy for you for only $1.00 but I don't know about Hopkins Co., Ky. however they seamed very nice. Try Deed book #1 p23, book 12 p23, book 18 p407-409 and Book 17 p305-306. I hope this helps you and would like your information on your line if you find time and would like to share. Jerry Cavanah
I have Campbell M. Hopper born about 1820 in Tennessee. He married Mary Jane Joyce born about 1824 Tennessee. They were married about 1844. William T. Hopper born October 1845 married Biddie Fowler born in 1873. He may have been married before Biddie, but I haven't found a first wife. I show apossible 9 children for them. 4 girls and 5 boys. I have 3 'sons' with no names. Nancy C. Hopper was born in 1846. She married James A. Hart in Caldwell County, Ky in January 1865. I don't have any children listed. Eliga Campbell Hopper born about 1849 married Martha Jane Moore in Caldwell County, Ky in 1870. I have 5 children listed for them. I do not have marriages for Thomas, America or Margaret. I have Thomas "G." not Thomas "J.". I am not sure which is correct and if I am wrong would appreciate the information. I also have a Henry M. Hopper born in 1864 that could be the missing H. M. you mention. I don't have parents for him............he has been one of my trailers. I have him married to Nancy Jane Eison. Nancy was previously married to John Lewis Fowler. Possibly a brother to Biddie???? This would definitely connect him to the family. If, this helps let me know. I do have other information and am happy to share. Maybe you can fill in a couple of spots for me. I believe I have found James Williams's son Warren Williams. If you check 1850 Posey County Indiana this is what you find: 1850 Census, Indiana, Posey County, Lynn Township, Page 217B, 9/3/1850: Warren R. Williams, 34yo, Farmer, KY Matilda, 25yo, IN Sarah A., 7yo, MO Mary L., 5yo, IL Albert S., 2yo, IN This family found on the 1860 in Illinois, Richland County, Noble Township, page 130. Same place page 560 on the 1870 Census and on the 1880 page 93C. If you do that math on what is believed to be the birth year on Warren, James's son it's about the same. This is the same Township and place the Gillison Price family lived and the Jesse Williams family. Kristen
