Hi Hazel, David Roland Jones was born 1824 in Pendleton District, SC. He married Cassander Bridwell (Breedwell) on 28 Dec 1843 in Meigs Co., TN. He died, (according to our family historian) on 20 Aug 1863 in Rollings, Casey Co., KY. He did not die in the Civil War but from some other sort of accident. He and Cassander had 7 children and they were all born in McMinn Co., TN between 1844 and 1852. Seems like they moved around alot!! I have no idea when or why David and Cassander moved to Casey Co., KY, they seemed to have put down some roots in Rhea Co., TN the all of a sudden they are in KY. I know after David died, Cassander moved back to Meigs Co. TN and married a man named AJ Pritchett in 1867. I hope with this information, MAYBE, you can find something, anything on him!!!!
