Judy, Do you have anything on a death or children. He bought land from Samuel Goldsmith in 1813 in Casey County and his wife in 1825 from her brother John Waters with witnesses as Joseph Waters (brother) and Evan Moore (we believe a son). They had Martha, Isaac, Nathaniel, and Milton. We know there were more. Nathaniel was first in 1804-then gap, Martha 1810 and Isaac 1813 and Milton 1818. (Evan was born 1805 Lincoln Co and Married Polly Wolford 1828 Casey County) Mort married 1803 Lincoln to Elizabeth Waters. Her parents lived in Lincoln. We believe Mort died around 1825 because Eliz bought land in 1825 and was listed alone in 1830 Census.Old Mort appeared out of thin air and disappeared equally mysteriously. Thank you for your help.
