Dear Wilma, Am interested in your Goode line, reading the recent e-mails etc. My father was born in Casey Co. Ky, in 1899. His last name was Smith. The reason that I zeroed in on this is that my fathers middle name was Goode. In those days it was not uncommon to give a child a middle name that was the same as the Dr. who delivered the child. So I am wondering if in your ancestral line you may have a DOCTOR Goode, one that would have been old enough to practice by the year 1899. I realize that this isn't very important in the big picture, but I have been unable to find much on my S mith, Casey Co line. Probably due to the last name being so common.
