Does anyone have a listing of the people buried in the Old Tapscott Cemetery, this is on Martin's Creek. There is about 25 graves in this Cemetery and only 2 have tombstones. All the rest have markers. Logger's have been back in there, and the Cemetery looks like no one has been there in years. My sister and my children (ages 14 & 17) cleaned up some of the trees and leaves and placed some flowers on each grave we found in March of this year. Some of the graves are sunken in quite a lot. My Ggrandmother is buried there, with a head stone and a set of twins. I have taken a lot of photos of this cemetery, and the resting place is a beautiful place. The deers run free, and I am sure there are snakes, just haven't seen any "yet". Have to cross the Creek, and drive up the Creek a little ways to get to the Cemetery. My "New" Van was draging bottom most of the way. "Don't tell my hubby, he would be upset with me". Thank You and hope someone can help, hope to get back to Kentucky soon and finish our cleaning of this Beautiful but "forgotten" Cemetery. Roberta
