Hello Betty, We do not have complete documentation that your Thomas J. Allen is connected to the Allens of early Casey county, just a strong suggestion that there is a possibility to follow up on. We have reference to a Thomas Allen, son of William D. Allen, who married Elizabeth W. (unknown last name). This Thomas had a sister who married in 1830 when your Thomas was about 7 years old (1830 - 7 = 1820), 1820 being the birth years you gave. A son of Robert Allen and Nancy Christerson Allen, Robert Allen Jr. married Marion Mills in 1800. In 1854 Mahala Mills married a John Allen, son of James and Susan Bronson Allen. The Allens of Casey county married Mills for two generations so that is the connection that could prove to be a lead for you. William D. Allen, father of the above Thomas, died before 1825. So there may be a will or probate record that might help you identify your Thomas. Good luck in your never-ending quest! Yours truly, Bill and Loydean Allen end -----Original Message----- From: David P.
