Hi Linda, I looked in the 1860 Casey co. census, and see on page 123 the Brice you are talking about. I think you are right. I am developing a good data base on the Peytons and their associated lines. I have been looking at some CDs I purchased on EARLY VA . ( I have 8 of them ) geneologies census, tax records, wills , and military service . The Peytons go back a long ways , 1500s , and their ties to other lines is very interesting. One I have found , that I had seen listed on CRR , is the Goode Family . It takes time to go thru these, but I am making a list of persons , and then looking at the 24 CDs I have from Brauderbun plus the marriage CDs , give me a wealth of information. I just have to figure out who goes with who LOL . If you can send me information on Bennett, Brice, and as early as you can , [erhaps I can find his parents. There are many Peytons mentioned in these CDs but not many of later dates. The Valentine who is mentioned so often in these early records , is from the middle 1700s . How do I get to Bennett from Indiana ? If I had access to the census files from IN. perhaps I could find his parents. I will be gone for awhile , but when I return I will get back to this research. I have been also to the WKU Library , they have all of the KY census, and they make copies of KY death certificates for .15 . It is a wonderful tool , it just takes time to do all of this. I am going to have to organize my time better. Keep in touch, Bob
