Louie, in order to use a GedCom file you must have some type of genealogy program, It does not have to be FTM.......you can use PAF, Brother's Keeper, Roots, Reunion, Family Tree etc...........and whatever program you use must support use of a GedCom file........Without a Program you can save the GedCom file to disk for whenever you do have a Program...............but you are limited greatly to what you can do without a program.........Sorry!
