Just a thought Louie, but with what genealogy program are you trying to use it? My FTM 5.0 took it as an imported file jsut like water off a ducks back...slick that is. I created a "New" Family File called "Caseyco" and unzipped the file right into that new family file........when FTM displayed a window asking which names from the total list did I want to include in my file, I clicked on >> and included them all (wow, about 32,000). For Larry, works like a charm........but have found that I have additional data on paper that apparently was not in my GedCom.......How would you like to handle that??? Some of the data may provide links between some of the other families beside my Rainwater's.......I started to add the data to your GedCom, but decided that I should probably add it to my Family File and then provide you a new Irving.GED.........but that wouldn't put the data into files other than yours and mine.........I also wondered about some of the individuals( from other's Ged files) that had only a name and no connections or vital stats.......I ran a exercise to match individuals and was able to reduce the total number of people in the file, but only by a few..........matching a full data file with a file having only a name is risky business and I didn't dare erase an individual of the same name............... But thanks for the effort you put into this thing, it's helpful.......I was especially pleased to see some Jasper data..........my Mother use to speak of Gid Jasper.........but it will take me awhile to understand that connection, other than I recall Mother saying that the Jasper's were the school teachers during her childhood (1901-etc) in Mintonville.
