Hi, Nell, I have an Ambrose Flemming Goode, born around 1849, who was the son of Alfred and Mary Polly Ward Goode. Alfred born 1799. Married Mary Polly Ward in 1834. Ambrose moved to Davies county, Kentucky, not sure when. I do not have any marriage records as of yet for Ambrose. Ambrose was my GGGrandfather's brother, Edmond Randolf Goode, born 1824, died 1895, married to Rhoda Ann Christerson. Ambrose other siblings include: John Valentine Goode, b.1820; Drusilla Goode, b. 1822; James T. Goode, b. 1826; Rhoda Ann Goode(yes, Edmond married a woman with the same name as his sister), b.1828; Francis Goode, b. 1830; George Washington Goode, b. 1835; Mary M. Goode, b. 1837; Minerva Dorothy Goode, b. 1840; Thomas Jefferson Goode (the father, Alfred, was definately patriotic!), b. 1844 d.1910 and was married to (1st) Nancy Ann Wethington, (2nd) Mollie Drake; Elizabeth Goode, b. 1845; Susan Caroline Goode, b. 1849; Joseph Green Goode, b. 1852 and married Anne Elizabeth Wethington in 1873.
