I downloaded one from http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ky/Bios under Kentucky Biographies, a biography titled BEARD 185 Mann Coppage McWhorter Southerland Hendrickson, Adair Co. I am still a novice. I do not know how to attack it to this so maybe you can get it off the net. You will notice the difference in spelling of McWhorter. As to my direct line: Samuel Bryant Beard, b. 1867, m. July 11, 1897 (Garber, OK), d. 1916 married Alice May Duncan b. May 4, 1870 (Missouri), d. 1964 (Enid, OK) had seven children. I will send you their info if you'd like. Samuel Bryant's parents were Samuel J. Beard b. abt. 1822 in Tenn., m. January 8, 1852 in Casey Co, KY to Frances Bland, b. abt. 1830. His parents were Samuel Beard, b. Abt. 1787, m. 1812?, to Elizabeth ? , b. Abt. 1795. Her parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Bland of Casey Co, KY. Samuel J. Beard and Frances Bland had these children I know about...Samuel Bryant; Susan b. Abt. 1854; Thomas b. Abt. 1866 married to Alice R., and James W. b. January 8, 1856 (KY) and d.
