Hello, I was looking at an old family tree that had been written up several years ago, and saw that an ancestor had been born in VA and died in Middleburg, KY. After looking at an old atlas I realized that he was born and had passed on in the same area, as KY split from VA in the late 1700's. His name was John LUCAS, Jr. Apparently, there had been a John LUCAS, Sr., but there was no information listed in the book. Does anyone have any information on the LUCAS line? I recently moved to Jackson MO from Wisconsin, and plan on making the trip over to the Middleburg area to do some scouting around, and it would be nice to learn of a few places to actually look for the information.
