Well, I know of at least one branch of the Chasteens who went to Illinois. Another Chasteen went somewhere but I don't know where--sometime before his death in 1919. He married in Casey County and his name was Austin Jesse Chasteen, who was born in 1862 and was known as Jesse. Also know some of the Casey Crutchers went to Illinois and then Texas. Just not sure about Indiana but it makes sense. -----Original Message----- From: CAmador123@aol.com <CAmador123@aol.com> To: KYCASEY-L@rootsweb.com <KYCASEY-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Tuesday, March 09, 1999 1:31 PM Subject: Re: [KYCASEY-L] Crutchers and Chasteens >To Charleen > I am not researching Crutchers or Chasteens but there were families of >this name in the Scott Co., IN areas during the late 1800's.
