His son James Tilford Goode was the father of Martha Ann Goode, who married John F. Randolph. Their son, John W. Randolph, was my father. I haven't been involved in family research too long, so don't have too much information other than that shared by others. I did find a listing of the marriage of Alfred Goode and Catherine Wethington in a Family Tree Maker's CD entitled "Marriage Index: KY, NC, VA, WV 1728-1850" which says they were married in Adair Co., Ky. on February 2, 1819.
