Survivors include a daughter,Betty Lou Alstott of Liberty; granddaughter, Betty Marie Kirkham and three great- grandchildren,Alicia, Laura and Katy. She was preceded in death by three brothers,Garland,Edgar and Willis Brown;and three sisters,Mary Coffman,Pearlie and Betty Clarkston. Burial was in Hustonville Cemetery. JAMES H. GREGORY , 75 James Henry Gregory,Roley Road,Casey Creek,died Thursday,August 20,1998 at his home,he was 75 years old. Born in Somerset on March 11,1923,he was a son of the late John Henry and Mary Ellen Kenny Gregory and the widower of Marcia C. Johnson Gregory. Survivors include a son,James L. Gregory of Misson Diego,Calif.;three brothers, Hubert T. Gregory of Liberty, William H. Gregory and Bobby Gregory;three sisters,Ruby Phelps,Pearl Gregory and Eula Gregory. He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Funeral services were held in Greensburg,Pa and burial in Memorial Park in Pennsylvania. MARY ROYALTY , 93 Mary Susan Jones Royalty died August 28,1998 at her home,she was 93 years old. Born in Middleburg on April 2,1905,she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Sarah Miller Jones and the widow of Farris H. Royalty. Survivors include a sister,Marie Bastin of Middleburg; a nephew Harold Jones, and numerous other nieces and nephews;and her beloved cat, Kiddelum. She was cared for by her nephew, the late Vernon T. Jones and his wife,Sue Charles Jones. Special caretakers also include Murrell Durham,Faye Crochran,Janet Douglas and Hospice of Lake Cumberland. She was preceded in death by a son,Lewis A. Royalty. Burial was in Middleburg Cemetery. ALVIE L. SHOOPMAN , 76 Alvi L. Shoopman of Danville,formerly of Liberty,died August 18,1998 at the Danville Center for Health and Rehabilation,he was76 years old. Born in Casey County on Jan.2 1922,he was a son of the late George Sherman and Danzel Cochran Shoopman. Survivors include a son, George Gerald Shoopman of Winchester;two daughters,Jan Shoopman Binder of Danville and Malena Coleman of Lagoda In;six sisters, Pearlie Brown and Deltha Turpin, both of Liberty, Wavie Snow and Irene Smith, both of Hustonville,Florence Sanders of Lagoda In and Della Edith Lynn of Perryville;two brothers,Earl Shoopman of Liberty and Shorty Shoopman of Lancaster;eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters,Rudell Pullinam and Ada Brown;and a brother,Delbert Shoopman. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery. EARL HARMON , 94 Earl Harmon of Liberty died August 23,1998 at Liberty Care Center,he was 94 years old. Born in Adair County on Aug.11,1904,he was a son of the late Creed and Lizzie Jane Long Harmon and the widower of Lexie Morgan Harmon and Telitah Lawson Harmon. Survivors include a daughter,Jane Lynn of Stanford; two sons,William Harmon of Nicholasville and Charles Harman of Liberty;18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was prededed in death by four brother,Jody,Haydon,Johnny and Edgar Harmon; three sisters, Minnie Montgomery,Mag Burton and Martha Moore; and two grandchildren. Burial was in Poplar Springs Cemetery. James E.Price, 68 James Edward Price of Glensfork died August 18,1998 at Westlake Regonial Hospital in Columbia,he was 68 years old. Born in Hamilton,Ohio on May 23,1920 he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Lucille Bell Haggard Price. Survivors include his wife,Patricia Vance Price; two sons,Edward Keith Price and Thomas Jay Price both of Liberty; two daughters.Sandra Jill Smith and Lisa Jan Thomas both of Hustonville; a step/son,Kevin Clark of Bowling Green;10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons,Randall Craig Price and James Timothy Price;brother,William Thomas Price. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery. RUSSELL L. WILLIAMS, 72 Russell Lee Williams of Nicholasville died August 21,1998 at his home,he was 72 years old. Born in Yosemite on June 17, 1926 he was a son of the late Willie and Arvina Raney Williams. Survivors include his wife,Kathleen Floyd Williams; a son,Ray L. Willliams of Danville; a daughter,Janet Williams of Nicholasville; two brothers, John Williams of Shelbyville and Oscar Williams of Cincinnati;sister,Lena Bastin of Lexington;and a granddaughter,Andrea Mesplay. He was preceded in death by a son,Don Williams;and six brothers and sisters,Mary Watson,Ruby Vaughn,Della Floyd,Corene Saylers,Elmer Willaims and Eunice Williams. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
